I’ve used it on stage a couple times now it just worked. No dropouts, no weird glitches, no messing around with it mid-show. It did exactly what I needed it to do, which is really all I wanted.

I didn’t really expect Vochlea Music to catch my voice this well, but it kind of does. I’ve been humming little melody ideas into it and most of the MIDI comes out surprisingly close. When I try faster bits it can go a little weird, like that thing where it just doesn’t quite know what I meant, but for quickly getting an idea down it’s been really useful. Definitely feels more natural than sitting there clicking in notes one by one.

I really wanted to like Vochlea, and I was excited to try it out. The setup itself wasn’t too bad, but once I started actually using it, the learning curve hit me harder than I expected. Getting clean results took a lot more practice and patience than I thought it would. I’m sure it probably works great for someone who’s willing to stick with it, but for me, most sessions ended with me feeling frustrated instead of inspired. Kind of disappointing, because I genuinely hoped it would click for me.

Works fine, and I do like the idea behind it. Setup was easy, nothing too complicated. For the price though, expected a little more. Some of the features feel kind of limited unless you’re using it all the time. Overall, good product, just not sure it’s fully worth it for me...

I liked that the pricing was laid out clearly from the start. No sneaky extras or confusing add-ons showing up later, which feels only fair when you’re trying to decide if something is worth paying for. It made it much easier for me to judge whether Vochlea was a good fit without feeling pushed or misled.

I wanted to like this, but wow, the crashing is getting old fast. I’ll be right in the middle of a session, finally getting into a flow, and then it just quits on me. Even better, sometimes it refuses to open again unless I restart everything, which is just ridiculous. I’ve already lost a few ideas because of it, and that’s the kind of thing that makes me not want to trust the app at all. Super frustrating, honestly.

For me, the latency is frustrating. The responses often feel slow enough that it breaks my focus, especially when I’m trying to stay in a good flow. It’s usable, but personally I find it harder to rely on when I need things to move quickly

I got Vochlea mainly for recording ideas at home, and, overall, it does the job. When the room is quiet, it works well, and it’s easy enough to use. But, if there’s a fan running, or people talking nearby, it seems to pick up more background noise than I expected. It’s not awful, and I can still use it, but it’s just not as clean as I was hoping for. For me, 3 stars feels about right...

It runs smoothly on my Mac, so no big complaints there. Just a heads-up for anyone in the community using Windows though, the setup felt a bit limited and not as straightforward as I expected. If you're mainly on Mac, you’ll probably be fine, but Windows users might want to check the support/setup details first.

I really wanted to like Vochlea because the idea is cool, and it was fun to mess around with at first. But the dynamic expression control just didn’t behave the way I expected. Sometimes it got way too jumpy, and other times it felt oddly flat, so I kept having to redo takes over and over. Tiny changes in how I sang or spoke would throw things off and give me results I didn’t want, which meant even more fixing and re-recording. Maybe it clicks better for other people, but for me it ended up slowing me down instead of saving time. Not awful, just frustrating.

I had a small issue while getting everything set up, so I sent a message thinking I probably wouldn’t hear back until the next day. But they got back to me really quickly, and it actually felt like they’d read what I wrote instead of sending some generic copy-paste reply. They helped me sort it out without any hassle. it left me feeling really good about using vochlea.com.

I’ve been using Vochlea Music mostly to turn quick vocal ideas into MIDI, and it’s been handy. The pitch detection is good and catches most of what I sing, even when I’m not being super precise. It does get a bit confused sometimes on fast runs or when my timing’s a little messy, so I still have to clean up a few notes afterward. Overall though, it saves me time and feels reliable enough for sketching out ideas. It’s not perfect, but it’s solid.

It does work with my DAW, so I’m happy about that, but getting it set up was a little more fiddly than I expected. Every now and then it doesn’t sync quite right, and I found myself wondering if other people were running into the same thing too. I checked around a bit to see if it was just me, and it seems like a few others have had similar setup quirks. Overall, it’s usable, but I wish the syncing was a bit more reliable

I’m fed up with the firmware update process. The app keeps telling me I need to update, but then the update fails over and over, and I’m left guessing what to do next. The support info doesn’t really clear anything up either, which just makes the whole thing more frustrating. If there’s a known issue, the company needs to be upfront about it and provide clear steps or a real fix instead of leaving customers stuck...

I liked the overall concept and the interface was easy to figure out, but the presets didn’t help me much. A few were okay as starting points, but most still needed a lot of tweaking before they looked right. Not a bad tool, just not as useful out of the box as I was hoping.

Had to request a refund. Wasn’t sure how long it would take, honestly. But it came through quicker than I expected, so no complaints there.

Shipping was quicker than I expected. I was ready to assume there’d be some kind of delay, but no, everything showed up without any issues at all

I’ve been using it to hum little ideas into synths and build weird textures quickly. The tracking isn’t perfect every time, but for sound design it’s been really handy

The voice profiling didn’t work that great for me!!! I was expecting it to be a lot smoother, but it just didn’t really pick things up the way I hoped. Maybe it works better for other people?? But for me, it was a bit frustrating...
